It's wonderful to have some of our valued patients come to us through referrals from other eye doctors. In this post we want to share a glimpse into our collaborations within the optometric community, shedding light on how these referrals come to life.
Our team actively engages in conferences and training sessions to exchange knowledge and insights with fellow eye care specialists.
Recently, we had the pleasure of participating in The Georgia Optometric Association's annual gathering, where local optometrists were offered continuing education opportunities. This event serves as a platform for vendors to showcase cutting-edge technology and for optometry groups to highlight their services.
Optometric Vision Therapy Collaboration
At this year's gathering, six Optometric Vision Therapy practices joined forces to offer Georgia optometrists access to referral options for Optometric Vision Therapy services.
Presently, there are 14 Developmental Optometrists working in 11 optometric vision therapy clinics throughout Georgia, all esteemed members of the Optometric Vision Development Rehabilitation Association (formerly the College of Optometrists in Vision Development).
The Pediatric Vision Development Center is honored to be part of these committed offices.
Within the OVT Community, We Are Unique
Here at our center, we take pride in having completed Fellowship certification, specializing in optometric vision therapy services. We are dedicated professionals and also a married couple, offering our expertise as a team at our locations in Gwinnett and Forsyth counties.
We are committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment that blends expert professional care with a familial touch, ensuring the best possible experience for our patients.
Collaboration Benefits Our Patients
We share this insight into our operations to emphasize our commitment to ongoing learning and working together with fellow experts.
In addition to The Georgia Optometry Association, we collaborate with primary care optometrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, concussion specialists, teachers, and physicians to tackle issues concerning the visual health of our patients.
At the Pediatric Vision Development Center, we place great importance on our partnership for greater good. We encourage and appreciate teamwork to deliver the best result for each of you.
