Dr. Nadira Shadeed graduated in 2005 from the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) and then completed a one year Residency program in Pediatric Optometry at SCO. The residency program provided advanced clinical experience in pediatric optometry, management of binocular vision disorders, and the developmental and behavioral aspects of vision care that aid in evaluating and treating patients in optometric vision therapy. Dr. Shadeed earned her Fellowship certification in vision development and vision therapy from the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA). Dr. Shadeed was recognized by the Roswell Lion’s Club for providing vision care for Special Olympics athletes. Dr. Shadeed has given presentations to optometrists and other professionals on the topics of Vision Therapy, Amblyopia, Vision and Learning, and Post-Concussion Vision Syndrome. She is a current member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Georgia Optometric Association (GOA), Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA), Optometric Extension Program (OEP), and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA).
